For the youngest visitors, the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan has the children's exhibition «Amazing Animal World», created on the basis of the collection of diplomatic gifts from representatives of foreign states and international organizations. The images of animals embodied in works of fine and decorative and applied art are not only a reflection of the cultural traditions of different countries but also symbols of friendship, respect and good relations between states.
The exhibition is intended first of all for kindergarten children and primary school pupils. By getting to know the images of the animals of Kazakhstan and other countries, children broaden their understanding of the natural diversity of the planet, the features of the animal world, the relationship between people and the environment, and the symbolic meaning of animals in the cultures of different peoples of the world.

Children's exhibition
The eagle is the legendary lord of the sky and a key symbol of Kazakh national identity. For thousands of years this proud bird has embodied the ideas of freedom, spiritual strength and fearlessness for the people of the Great Steppe.
In Kazakh traditional culture the eagle (bürkit) holds a sacred place. It is part of the notion of «Zheti kazyna» (the Seven Treasures of the steppe dweller) as the faithful companion of the hunter. The eagle personifies a proud spirit, freedom, independence and the protection of higher powers.
Its image is placed on the State Flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan beneath the sun, symbolizing the independence, strength and openness of our state.
